Pork Chops with Prunes in Red Wine

4 Pork Chops

8 Prunes
1 Apple, finely sliced
Juice of a Lemon
300g Chopped onions
100ml Red Wine
Sprig of Rosemary
1 Meat cube dissolved in ½ pint water
40g Unsalted Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste

Remove stone from prunes and chop into small pieces. Soak in water for 5 minutes.
 
Slice apple and keep in a bowl of water with lemon juice, to prevent the apple turning brown.
 
Melt butter in a pan, add onions and fry gently. Fry pork chops on both sides till a golden colour. Add rosemary.
 
Drain prunes and apple slices. Add red wine and meat broth. Season with salt and pepper.
 
Cook for 15 minutes on low heat till apples start melting and meat does not stick to pan.
